Veronica Takács divides her residence between Montreal, Canada and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Apart from this online Marine Scenes gallery, she exhibits in the Province of Quebec, and in the States of Maine and South Carolina in the United States. She has received prizes for her work and has given several lectures and demonstrations on the art of pastel painting for artists in other art media.
Veronica is presently the Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Town of Mount-Royal Art Association, TRAM (Table Ronde sur l'art de Mont-Royal). She is also a member of the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada, the Montreal Women's Cultural Association and the Art League of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
